time in public Ministry

In 2007 a charismatic pastor decided to mentor Joseph, and later that year with the support of the Right Reverend John David Scholfield the public ministry began, later in 2008 the denominational shift would occur with the support of 3 major evanglical churches in bakersfield. One was Southern Baptist, one Foursquare, and one was Assemblies of God. During this time the Southern Baptist church would bring up potentially joining an assosication. They all three sent letters attesting to good standing to The National Association of Christian Ministers. In 2009 there was a need for a responsible elder for Central California where the church New Horizon Christian Center was looking to be established. the church had a run of 5 years never getting a regular place to meet but still some how meeting weekly as a small congregation of 10 people. as  Elder Joseph made it a key emphasis to have all churches in his district trained in how to handle grief. In 2013 Reverend Joseph stepped down from all ministry rolls due to a contentious issue of supporting the LGBTQIA community. the assosciation, and the other ministries associated where pushing Joseph to preach against the community and he refused both because he thought it was not the place of the church to teach such but that he is indeed part of the community. In the agreement reached when stepping down Joseph still has active ordination just is not activly leading any services.
